TikTok star Christine Tran Ferguson ‘heartbroken’ after death of son
Influencer Kristin Tran Ferguson has been heartbroken following the tragic loss of her one-year-old son Usher.
The social media star behind the Tour de Lust travel page on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube revealed on Thursday that her beloved 15-month-old son had died.
The 37-year-old blogger welcomed her first child, Usher, on April 20, 2022, along with her husband, Ryan Ferguson.
Sharing a series of photos and videos of the young man, she wrote a long and heartbreaking message addressed to her son after his passing.
‘You are 15 months old today, my angel ???????? Mom and dad love you very much, you brought us so much joy and made our family complete. I never knew how much love and happiness I could have until you came into our lives, she began.
“You are the smartest and happiest boy I have ever known. You were going to do amazing things and change the world, I know that for sure.
“I miss your laugh, the way you stick out your tongue when you giggle, the way you pick up food with your tiny puffy fingers, your dance moves, the way you clap your hands, the way your little feet kick the ball, the way you grab hockey or golf clubs for dad, you just always knew how to make everyone smile.”
She went on to say that her heart was “completely broken” and that she was still “in shock” after his death, wanting to wake up from “this unimaginable nightmare and [him] back to [her] weapon.’
“Why is this happening to us, why Asher?? You don’t deserve any of this. Losing you is the hardest experience mom and dad have ever had to go through,” she continued.
“Every day without you was torture, this pain is unbearable. I still feel that you will reappear, but our house is so quiet and empty without you. Part of me died with you. I’m so heartbroken, I don’t know how to live my life without you.
“I can’t even put into words how much I love you. I can’t stop seeing your big smile everywhere I go, I hear you laughing and babbling all day long and it just breaks my heart that you’re not physically around. Your room is empty, your things are intact.
Ferguson said “there is no pain that compares to the loss of a child” and expressed disbelief that this is happening to her husband and to her.
She continued, “I would give anything to take your place, to go back in time. I still can’t believe you left, why did you leave so early?? We had a future as a family that I think about all the time, and it just went away.
“I miss running my hands through your hair, biting your chubby legs, but most of all I miss your hugs and kisses!! I pray to see you in my dreams every night. I just really want you back, but you’re never coming home and it’s killing me.”
She continued her post in the comments, saying, “We feel so lost without you and miss you as hell.” I prayed for a miracle that YOU would be a miracle, that you would come back to us. My heart hurts for you every second. You will never be forgotten. We’ll take you everywhere we go. We love you so much my sweet boy, I pray to see you soon.”
Ferguson ended the post by thanking friends and fans for reaching out and said that she and her husband have “privacy during this difficult time as we are still in shock and still unable to respond to this unbearable nightmare.”
She did not share details of the infant’s death, although she shared two weeks earlier that he was “fighting for his life in the intensive care unit.”
“God give us a miracle and save my sweet Asher,” she wrote at the time. “We need you, we miss your laughter, your smile, we need you here with mom and dad.”
