How to get TikTok’s McDonald’s bangs with no heat
It looks like the blonde bangs on the curtains have undergone the final capitalist rebranding.
Hair-swinging TikTok users refer to their golden bouncy bangs as “McDonald’s bangs” because of their resemblance to the brand’s infamous “golden arches”.
The style, which, to be honest, is far from new, is inspired by the fashions of the 1970s.
The recipe is simple: light strands, face-framing layers and lots and lots of volume.
But let’s be honest, you don’t have to be blonde to wear McDonald’s bangs, brunettes look just as good with voluminous bangs framing the face.
Guys also look hot with McDs bangs.
How to make bangs from McDonald’s without heating
TikToker Olivia Dayton shared on her profile the ultimate no-frills McDonald’s bangs guide.
She suggests starting with wet hair and just flipping it back and then forward so it falls where you want it too.
If that doesn’t work, she suggests trimming the bangs in place so the strands can defy gravity for a while.
Let them air dry and remove the clips.
Voila! You have bangs from McDonald’s.
