“After all this happened, we found a video on Tiktok that said, ‘If I die young, just know that I was happy,'” Hayley’s sister Laya Thompson told the British edition of The Sun.
Leah wrote on a GoFundMe set up to return her sister’s body to her home in Manchester for the “wire she deserves” that “Haley’s health rapidly deteriorated, causing her to have three seizures that resulted in her losing her life.” “.
At the time, she was on a waiting list for a liver transplant and left behind her 18-year-old daughter Ciara, her partner Adam Woodhall, and three adopted children.
Her family didn’t know how sick she was, according to a report from The Sun, which says Hayley posted the TikTok note in March – five months before her sudden death.
“If I die young… Give my jewelry to my child,” it said.
“Know that I was happy.
“Everyone should be dressed in yellow for the funeral. No socks and ties, I want FULL yellow suits or dresses.
“I need a DJ for the after-party. If anyone calls this a wake, you’re banned.
“Remind Keane and Adam every day how special they have made my existence. I love my family, never forget.
“Wherever you see sunflowers, I will be there.”
The note is part of a growing TikTok trend where users can share their latest wishes.
“I know it’s kind of a trend, but my sister really thought that. Hailey was such a sweet woman with a big heart who went out of her way to help you whenever she could,” Laia Thompson said, according to The Sun.
Hailey had just opened her birthday presents when she felt sick and returned to her tent with Adam.
When she got up to go to the bathroom, she passed out, had convulsions, and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter by paramedics.
The Sun reports that Hayley has been throwing up blood since 2016 due to a mysterious illness that afflicted her liver, but doctors have struggled to diagnose her and without a transplant, she would have been fatal.
Before her death, Hayley had two potential liver matches, both of which were the wrong size.
“I think she downplayed it a lot; I think she wanted to live her life because she had already been called for a transplant and she was disappointed. She just wanted to have fun, and I think that suits me that she was happy, ”said Laya.
“The last two years she was with her partner, just enjoying life. Until 2016, she was a rather large girl. She lost a lot of weight. Because of this, she got to the point where she was really happy and satisfied with her life.
“We all knew she was not well and knew she needed a transplant, but we didn’t think it was necessary once it happened.”
“We are completely heartbroken as a family, which is further aggravated by the fact that Hayley is currently resting in peace in Devon, over 5 hours from her home in Manchester,” she wrote on her GoFundMe page.
