Whether it’s libraries joining the latest TikTok trend to imitate the children’s wonder of walking through the local library or raving about their “book boyfriend”, BookTok has brought us together to feel connected and rekindle our love of reading in ways we never expected.

BookTok Teams Up with Jenna Bush Hager for ‘Pass the Book’ Trend
To start our celebration, TODAY Show host and fellow bookworm @jenna_bushhager, along with @thedogearedbook, @brenlibny, @printbookstore, @kevintnorman and @tonyweaverjr, took to TikTok to launch the #PasstheBook trend, encouraging the BookTok community to publish their favorite books. When he first published his novel, stone maidens sales dropped in 2012. Posted on TikTok, Lloyd’s story touched millions of viewers who flocked to support his story and bought his book, making it the #1 serial killer book and the #7 book overall on Amazon at the time the video went viral.
